303 Fabric Guard Saved My Corvette’s Convertible Top

303 Fabric Guard Saved My Corvette’s Convertible Top

As most of our readers know, I am the proud owner of several Corvettes, including a 2010 Corvette Convertible. I consider my Corvettes to be my babies. I take immaculate care in trying to maintain them in a pristine condition. As with any vehicle, as time goes by, things begin to degrade on the car, and you must work hard to maintain them. As my Corvette’s convertible top begin to show signs of wear, I made a decision to purchase 303 Fabric Guard to protect it and restore it to a more new condition. I cannot say enough good things about this product. In fact, I am so pleased with it, that I decided to write this article to show you how to apply it to keep your car in great shape as well.

303 Fabric Guard Application And Success

When using this product, I found that you must follow a few simple guidelines to make sure it works perfectly as recommended. The benefits of this product are many:

1. Water repellant capabilities.
2. Stain replant capabilities.
3. It can be used on any fabric, including fabric convertible tops (which is how I used it).
4. The product actually can be used on any outdoor fabrics or umbrellas as well.

303 Fabric Guard is a fabulous product and restored my top to its original condition. 303 products come in other forms as well, and I believe they are every bit as effective and successful as the one I used on my convertible top.

303 Aerospace Protectant is another excellent product with tremendous UV protection capabilities as well.

303 Fabric Guard Recommendation

So why would use the 303 Fabric Guard? My response is why would you not use the 303 Fabric Guard? It is in my opinion the best product out there for the job.

I recommend that you follow the instructions below for best use:
1. Before starting, ensure that your fabric is both dry and clean.
2. Apply the product with a soft, clean cloth.
3. It’s best to apply the 303 product when the temperature is at least 70 degrees farenheit.
4. As with any sort of spray, make sure your working area has adequate ventilation.
5. Spray the Fabric Guard in a crisscross manner.
6. Spray just enough to dampen the fabric, being careful not to over-spray or soak it.
7. Allow the fabric to dry for at least 6-12 hours.
8. Since it is flammable, be sure not to store 303 Fabric Guard in a really hot area or any area near flames.

If you follow these steps on your convertible top, you will see results that I would define as literally amazing. If you would have told me that a product like this was this capable of restoring my Corvette’s convertible top’s natural beauty, I would have said you were crazy.

I first found out about 303 products after reading the reviews over at MeanJoeClean.com. Joe offers a lot of information about car and boat detailing. Check out Joe’s site the next time you need to clean your car up for a show.

Use the 303 Protectant as well periodically as a preventative product, this way you can stop fading before it gets to a level where it becomes obvious. This product is not overly expensive, and I believe an investment in 303 Fabric Guard is well worth the money, because you will be protecting your car for many years to come in the future.
